Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales

Experience & specialisms:
I qualified with Lowe & Whitwell, then moved to the East Midlands as a partner in a four partner firm specialising in delivering financial solutions to small businesses. I returned to Kendal 16 years ago to build a practice from nothing. It means I  speak from personal experience. Business and personal tax planning, along with business planning are the topics I find most satisfying both as a challenge and as a service to clients. A happy coincidence. 

Outside work:
I enjoy drinking wine (rather than winetasting or talking about it).  I read a lot - mainly business books, but also on modern war and travel.  

Anne Peatfield

Experience & specialisms:
I spent 14 years in the Civil Service working with people. Since 1990 I have worked with Stuart as his "right hand woman," keeping the practice running as smoothly as possible. It is my job to complete routine accountancy work. My most important job is helping clients get the best out of our services. Tell me what you need and I will make sure your needs are met.

Outside work:
Apart from being a busy housewife and frustrated mother of two (22 & 27, both still at home!) I enjoy gardening on a good weather weekend and, after a long hard day in the office, enjoy nothing better than a large glass of wine.
